RSS

Well, lots more available information thanks to RSS! I was able to create an account and select a number of feeds. The CBC link I wanted was not correct but by going directly to CBC website I was able to add that along with the other feeds I'd wanted. Interesting... Well, it will certainly make it easier to follow different movie reviews but that won't necessarily mean that the reviews are reliable!

Google and Big Brother

Wow, Google is amazing and who knew about all the latest things it has available!??

Google Maps is a very handy feature which can locate and address and show its location on a map which is amazing when you're trying to go somewhere for the first time. Another amazing but also scary feature is the ability to do a 'virtual drive by' to the homes of just about anyone you care to think of! I say scary because it's a little bit creepy to know that someone came by filming your street and your home and that it's all available to anyone who wants to find it.
Well, something didn't work last time so the post didn't get saved - computers!

At this point in time I find that the extra work and time required to be involved in Facebook just doesn’t fit with my priorities. However, I can see that it can be an amazing way for people to stay connected and potentially interact with a large number of people. I think this latter aspect particularly appeals to young people who are learning social skills, how to make and maintain friendships and be part of a social sphere. They also have the time and energy to spend on this!

Yes, there was nothing specific to resistance to sulfonylurea herbicides in Wikipedia. I chose not to publish anything on this topic.
